Was honoured to be on the Family Office panel for Karen’s Online Spring Family Office/Investor Conference on Impact/ESG/Technology Family Office Trends in March of 2021. She and I first met some years ago in Tunisia where we were both speakers at an event supported by various governments including Germany, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. Not only does Karen have a strong grasp on impact investing for investment fund mandates but most importantly, she has on-the-ground experience and networks in emerging economies. I look forward to her Family Office Summit on 22 July 2021 in London. Karen is a very lovely person to work with and I personally intend to do more work with her great organization.

I attended a Gateway2enterprise business investment workshop organised by Karen and found it excellent for navigating the eGenius future course through the complexities of business funding. The excellent range of speakers and opportunities to network with both investors & businesses made for a very varied and enjoyable day.

I attended the Investments and Crowdfunding Workshop in Manchester and found it very informative. Not only did the group receive excellent advice and guidance about the development of Crowdfunding platforms we also had access to legal experts, accountancy advice and a local Entrepreneur who took questions from the floor. Fantastic experience and information – Thank you, I would highly recommend it.

Karen has remarkable energy and enthusiasm for fundraising and investor relations. I attended a family office investor event in emerging technologies organised by Karen and I was highly impressed by the eclectic range entrepreneurs and investors at the event. I attend many events in the venture capital and startup sector and none were as eye-opening and stimulating at the one that Karen organised. BRAVO! I look forward to keeping in touch with Karen and hopefully working on projects together in the future.

Have some good news, I met with one of our potential investors this morning and he said he is interested to invest and he is fine with the current valuation. I’ll keep him informed in the coming months and so fingers crossed. This proves that you are absolutely amazing, your words are like an oracle, what you say becomes reality.

I met Karen at her Accelerator Program with Key Stage Ventures: ‘Investment Readiness’. I was initially impressed with Karen’s and her team knowledge, so I asked them if they would like to help us raise our first round of investment. We started working together during the Pandemic COVID-19 and within this period we raised £250k with a Family Office and the option of further investment. I liked their approach. They allocate their team members to parachute into your company to look at your strategy, structure and then work with you daily. Karen lead on raising the investment through her global network of investors and also supported us with the Term Sheets; while Matt guided us on our company structure and management. I would recommend and endorse Karen and her team if you wish not only to raise investment but also put together/review your fundraising strategy. We will continue to work within them and be part of their Accelerator Program to present at their Annual Family Office Conference on October 2020.

I had the pleasure of working with Karen in 2019 as a Key Note Speaker and Judge for our Africa Start Up Gate Summit 2019. Karen has continued to support our Tunisian Eco system and that of the MENA countries and her experience that she shared with the delegates at the Summit was and it to this day far reaching to inspire and educate Entrepreneurs in this region. I also know that Karen continued her networking with Inviting some of our Delegates to London to her Family Office Events and some of our Entrepreneurs attended her Accelerator Program.
