I was honored to a speaker of one of Karen’s ESG Spring Investor event. I’ve known Karen for years and she is amazing to work with in the Family Offices. She is a trusted investor, friend and partner to co invest with.

I can’t stress enough how great a mentor Karen has been on my journey into business. Her knowledge of all things to do with business planning and finance is fantastic and no matter what the problem, Karen always seems to have the solution. Along with having an extensive business knowledge Karen is also a great person with so much infectious energy, she is a joy to work with.

Was honoured to be on the Family Office panel for Karen’s Online Spring Family Office/Investor Conference on Impact/ESG/Technology Family Office Trends in March of 2021. She and I first met some years ago in Tunisia where we were both speakers at an event supported by various governments including Germany, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. Not only does Karen have a strong grasp on impact investing for investment fund mandates but most importantly, she has on-the-ground experience and networks in emerging economies. I look forward to her Family Office Summit on 22 July 2021 in London. Karen is a very lovely person to work with and I personally intend to do more work with her great organization.

I had the pleasure of working with Karen in 2019 as a Key Note Speaker and Judge for our Africa Start Up Gate Summit 2019. Mind blown!! Karen’s Gateway2enterprise Investment Readiness Accelerator Program exceeded all of my expectations. It was intensive and highly rewarding. All of the speakers were excellent, highly engaging and extremely relevant. With several of the speakers having already gone through the process of starting up successful companies, it was fantastic to get an insight into their experience and mindset. Last evening was probably the best meeting I have attended. You managed to keep us to time (Ruthlessly) and despite the transport difficulties you had a goodly number of wealthies. The judges set the tone and were surprisingly kind and constructive which set the scene for the greet and meet session. I felt the rivalry, for when I came up somebody had moved our stand into the corner – a matter soon corrected. We had a lot of interest and I will respond to the players next

I met Karen at her Accelerator Program with Key Stage Ventures: ‘Investment Readiness’. I was initially impressed with Karen’s and her team knowledge, so I asked them if they would like to help us raise our first round of investment. We started working together during the Pandemic COVID-19 and within this period we raised £250k with a Family Office and the option of further investment. I liked their approach. They allocate their team members to parachute into your company to look at your strategy, structure and then work with you daily. Karen lead on raising the investment through her global network of investors and also supported us with the Term Sheets; while Matt guided us on our company structure and management. I would recommend and endorse Karen and her team if you wish not only to raise investment but also put together/review your fundraising strategy. We will continue to work within them and be part of their Accelerator Program to present at their Annual Family Office Conference on October 2020.
